Emerald Downs Golf Course
Emerald Downs offers a newly completed 18 hole public golf course nestled in one of Port Macquarie's leading residential estates, this is an experience not to be missed by any visitor to the Port Macquarie Region.

Macquarie Nature Reserve & Roto House
Roto House is a timber home built in 1891 and is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture and craftsmanship. Experience life as it was 100 years ago and take in the 19th century atmosphere.

Mid North Coast Maritime Museum
The Museum encompasses 2 separate cottages which were originally built as pilot cottages in 1896. Now they house a wonderful collection of memorabilia and artefacts including superbly built scale models of a variety of vessels, charts, maps, paintings and an extensive collection of historical maritime photographs.

Port Macquarie Surf School
Port Macquarie Surf School offers you an experience you will never forget – Learning to Surf on the picturesque beaches of Port Macquarie. You will be surfing the best locations and learn all the skills required to surf as well as experiencing the thrill of riding a wave.

Port Venture River Cruises
The Port Venture is the largest vessel cruising the beautiful Hastings River in Port Macquarie. We are able to carry up to 250 passengers and are available for private charter and special events. As we are so large, the dolphins are very attracted to our boat as they enjoy surfing the bow waves. The Port Venture cruises everyday, we have a range of tours such as daily scenic cruises and BBQs.

Sea Acres Nature Reserve and Rainforest Centre
Sea Acres is a place of natural beauty protecting rare coastal rainforest at Shelly Beach, 4 km south of Town Beach at Port Macquarie. There is an elevated boardwalk through the rainforest (wheelchair-accessible), an information centre, gift shop and café. The Rainforest Centre and Rainforest Café are open every day from 9 am to 4.30 pm.

Southern Cross Horse Treks
We have a variety of riding programs to choose from, ranging from half and full day rides to weekend and week treks.
Our guests come from all around the world to experience the Australian bushland on well-trained and cared for horses.

Werrikimbe National Park
Walking tracks:
You'll find good walking tracks suitable for day trips beginning from each of the park's five picnic areas. The Mooraback walking track leaves from Mooraback camping area and will take you through snow gum woodlands and heath communities. The Carabeen Walk, which starts from Cobcroft picnic area, is 1.5 kilometres and passes through warm temperate rainforest and tall, moist eucalypt forest. From the Plateau Beech camping area you can take a meandering walk through Antarctic beech forest past crystal clear mountain streams and waterfalls such as King Fern Falls and Filmy Ferns Cascades. If you're looking for longer and more challenging walks, the Werrikimbe Trail will take you to the Hastings River and beyond, where you can explore deep gorges and spectacular waterfalls.
